FRIENDS CLUB

FSFC is a fledgling invitational club for friends with a DIY, can-do attitude, united in the goal of making professional, hypercreative, quirky-artsy, and funny films for a greater purpose, starting with the good ol’ public service announcement, aka the PSA.

A PSA can be anything from a heads up to the location of a pothole, tips on how to recycle, or a community update. It can be in the form of a music video and include animation; it can also be vertical. It’s up to us to decide!

Based in SF, LA, and Miami, we have a need for any and all film roles: Producers, Writers, Storyboard Artists, DPs, Gaffers, Sound Mixers, Directors, Set Decorators, Art Department, Costume Designers, Hair And Makeup, Editors, Marketers, Composers, Web Designers, etc; you name it! If there’s a skill you bring to set, please sign up for it. I’m personally hoping to learn some new things too! I am a costume designer who occasionally art directs and designs sets, but I’d love to co-direct one of the projects.  As soon as we have a working crew for each city, we’ll start with an introductory Zoom meeting. 

If you have a love for making films and a spirit of generosity, join us! We are creating these micro films because we give a damn about something and want to work in a supportive community, having fun with friends and building on trusted relationships.
